I came across this building on a backroad between Charleston, SC and Augusta, GA on a cloudy, overcast and rainy day as I was heading to Atlanta for the evening. It always pays to take the forgotten route instead of the interstate, even when you're driving across America in a 2-seater with no spare tire (thanks, Mazda).

Somehow I stumbled into an old commercial neighborhood in transition just east of downtown Memphis during my 2018 roadtrip. This lovely old building isn't more than 3 blocks from the old Wonderbread bakery in my Signs Collection. I'm still trying to figure out what an Upply is.

That's right - The defunct Texas Fashion is in Wilson, North Carolina. Previously a tire store judging by the peeling paint above the garage door.
