Having a little fun in the world's 6th largest city. This was a gourmet foodie trip involving copious quantities of great food. Strangely, I liked the Street Tacos as much or more than the Michelin Starred restaurants we visited.

Bienvenido a Mexico (Trajineras Xochimilco)

Tres Cervezas, Por Favor (Xochimilco, Mexico City)
Just hanging out down at the canals on Lake Xochimilco. Careful though, the chair bottoms look a little the worse for wear.

Banderas (Central Mexico City)
There were Souvenir Stands on every street corner near the Zocalo. I don't know if it was normal, or because Mexican Independence Day was the next week. Anyway, it was certainly colorful.

Hangin' at Frida's (Coyoacan, Mexico City)
Frida Kahlo's house, La Casa Azul, in the Coyoacan area of Mexico City. This was the family home that Frida grew up in and lived in for much of her life. Those exterior walls are about as Azul as you can get.

La Gran Hotel Entrance
The Gran Hotel Ciudad Mexico is located right on the Zocalo. Great Sunday Brunch with great views onto the Zocalo.
